Two friends dropped in to see me today, hadn't seen them since 2008. It was a big surprise as they live in the USA now. Brilliant. Really great to see them.

Off to the dentist today, whoohoo! Highlight of my weeks holiday? Up side, been really warm and sunny this week. Must get my bike out today...

Had a great stroll in the hills Sunday. Went to the Abbey site at Dawston and on to the Knocking Stone up past Cliffhope. Then back round past Saughtree Grain to the top of Abbey Knowe, great views of Dawston Rig , site of the Battle of Degsastan 603.

Ear Ache

Getting Ear Ache about lack of posting on this blog
So, what have I been doing. Lots of walking and eating less, advice from a consultant Cardio Man at Hospital after having an Angiogram,
Been exploring Liddesdale following Bluebells Historical and Descriptive. Good exercise, loads of photos ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/letsbikeit/sets/72157628292305667/with/6994136007/ ) taken, interesting conversations/debates with Nebless Clem (Tom http://www.reivershistory.co.uk/about-tom-moss.html ) He's trying to fill my head with Historical facts, most of it seems to leak out somewhere. Anyway we've had some notable successes recently having found some of the 'landmarks' identified by Bluebell (John Byers)
So, we'll be oot an' aboot again this Sunday to see what we can find...
